Jiffy Photo has many options to choose from for scanning your pictures.  

• Negative or Slide scans - on our Kodak film scanner will scan rolls or individual negatives or slides in 35mm or APS formats - colour or B&W.  It scans at two resolutions - regular 1000 x 1500 pixels or high resolution 2000 x 3000 pixels.

• Flatbed Scans of hardcopy photos or documents - We have 4 scanners to choose from for scanning photograph or documentation.  We can scan originals up to 11 x 17" at up to 1200 dpi.

• 120 or 4x5 scan - are done using a flatbed scanner with a transparency adaptor.  The quality from this process is surprisingly good.

• Optical Character Recognition take a scanned page and converts it to an editable text file.

• Transfer your data to CD - we will copy your files on to a CD-R or CD-RW for safe keeping from most types of media

Negative or Slide Scans

Scanning rolls of film at the time of developing onto CD

The standard service is to put your pictures on CD at the time we develop and print your film.  We can also upload your photos to Kodak's website for viewing and download. 

Kodak Picture CD comes with software preloaded which allow you to view, edit, email and enhance your photos.  This process can store up to about 200 images however all images must be burn in one session. The cost for this service is $8.99 for the first roll and $5.00 for each additional roll added to the same CD ($13.99 for the 1st + $7.00 for each additional if you don't order prints).

Regular CD offer the advantage of being able to bring the CD back and add to it at a later date.  The disadvantage is that no software is included so you must have viewing/editing software of your own to be able to use the pictures.  This service cost $6.99 for the first roll and $5.00 for each additional roll added to the same CD ($11.99 for the 1st + $7.00 for each additional if you don't order prints at the same time).

High Resolution Scans can only be put on to a regular CD.  Scan are 2000 x 3000 pixels. The cost for this service is $14.99 for the first roll plus $7.00 for each additional roll burned on the same CD ($17.99 for the 1st and $7.00 for each additional if you are not ordering prints).

Photos on Floppy Disk - this service offers up to 40 images on a floppy disk and 640 x 480 resolution.  The cost is $7.99 ($9.99 if not ordering prints)

Photonet Online uploads your picture to Kodak's Web Site so you or your friends can view them download them or e-mail them.  You can also order additional prints online.  The cost for this service is $7.99 ($9.99 if not ordering prints)
